COVID-19 Lockdown Schedule
Written by Al Frean on 31 March 2020
The novel Coronavirus pandemic has had a major impact on services across the world, and Radio Bronglais is unfortunately no different. We have decided to make some changes to our normal proceedings to ensure our volunteers and the inhabitants of Bronglais Hospital remain safe. Although we remain broadcasting, listeners may find our normal schedule has been affected as some of our regular presenters are staying away from the studio. However, many of our programmes continue to broadcast with presenters either presenting from home or pre-recording their content.
We have had to stop all visits into Bronglais Hospital for the time being, so providing companionship for patients over the radio has never been more important. Our dedicated volunteers are continuing to work to provide a friend by the bedside for all those patients stuck inside hospital during the lockdown phase.
We all want to say a huge thank you to the dedicated staff continuing to work during this health emergency. They’re all doing a fantastic job at keeping us as safe and healthy as we can be and continue to support us when we cannot. We couldn’t be more grateful!
Our volunteers will continue offering the services of Radio Bronglais as well as we can. We hope you all continue to support us, and do feel free to get in touch.
